There is a private dock & 2 kayaks for exploring the lake and if you'd like to access the community beach, there is a walking path from our property to it!

🏊♀️ The community indoor pool is open during the fall, winter and spring on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This is a shared pool not inside our home but located at the Recreation Center.

A maximum of 9 guests are allowed at the home at any time. All guests will be asked to complete a HOA required rental agreement for the security at Big Bass Lake upon booking the property. This application must be filled out a min. of 4 days prior to arrival in order to gain access to the home. Only guests on the agreement will be allowed on the property for the duration of the stay. No visitors or cars outside those registered to stay at the property will be permitted. You will need this form to check in at the main gate located at 1 Big Bass Drive.
Please note we are not responsible if we don't receive everyone's names before booking and if a guest is denied access if their name is not listed or submitted in time. Any changes within 3 days of check-in must be sent to us in writing and there is a $15 non-refundable fee from the community.
Check in is 4pm and check out is 11am. You may inquire for an early check in or late check out 48 hrs in advance of your stay and we will do our best to accommodate if possible however this is not guaranteed.. There is a $50 fee for each.
This is a NO SMOKING house, please do not smoke in the house.
A maximum of 3 dogs are allowed on the property. $150 pet fee will apply. No cats allowed.
Guest do not have access to the basement of the home. It is unfinished and not acceptable for guests to access.
There are Ring Security Cameras around the entire outside perimeter of the home that record video and audio.
We want you to enjoy your privacy and make the home your own during your stay. We will not be present on the property but are available via the messaging app should you need anything at all. Our goal is to provide a seamless and relaxing experience for you.
Big Bass Lake Community Association is a primer community in the Poconos. You must purchase amenities passes to use any Big Bass Lake Amenities, this includes use of the Clubhouse, Recreation Center, Outdoor Pool, Indoor Pool, Beaches, Lakes, Tennis Courts, Tubing/Sledding Hills and any special events on common property.
Amenity use passes may be purchased at the Association Office.
Amenity use passes are priced as follows (applies to age 7+)

There is a Recreation Center with an indoor pool, dry sauna, snack bar, tree top lounge and locker rooms. The Recreation Center is located at 59 Mountainside Drive.
In the winter months, grab some sleds and/or tubes and head over to the Big Bass Lake snow-tubing/sledding hills. Sledding/tubing is at your own risk.
Big Bass Lake strongly enforces the following rules:

All boats including canoes, kayaks, sailboats, wind surfers, rowboats or any other water craft capable of carrying an operator must be registered with Big Bass Lake Association prior to use, guests can not bring their own boats and must use the kayaks we provide.
No speeding, SECURITY WILL FINE YOU if you go over the 25 MPH speed limit in the community and we'd hate to see you get a ticket on vacation!
The house is located outside of the gated part of the community right next to one of the lake beaches and the main Big Bass Lake Association check-in gate. You must go to the main gate before going to the property to get your check in pass from security.
We may request guest verification after your reservation is booked. This would include you to provide personal contact information and a photo of your ID and a selfie photo with your ID.
The Poconos is very prone to wintery weather and snow storms in the winter months. Please consider this when booking your trip during those months. We suggest you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking to protect your trip. We do not give refunds or change dates due to weather or medical related issues. We do not shovel the deck and fire pit area in the winter months but provide a shovel if you’d like to use those amenities.

There is a Recreation Center with an indoor pool, dry sauna, snack bar, tree top lounge and locker rooms. The Recreation Center is located at 59 Mountainside Drive.
In the winter months, grab some sleds and/or tubes and head over to the Big Bass Lake snow-tubing/sledding hills. Sledding/tubing is at your own risk.
Big Bass Lake strongly enforces the following rules:
No large and loud parties. Of course we want you to kick back and have fun but please do so respectfully. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am.
No open flames/fires. Fire pit must be covered when in use.
No fishing in the lake unless you obtain a permit ahead of time (we tell you how to do this in our digital guidebook)
No speeding, SECURITY WILL FINE YOU if you go over the 25 MPH speed limit in the community and we'd hate to see you get a ticket on vacation!

The basement/ground level floor is unfinished and not accessible for guests.
Big Bass Lake is a gated community and strongly enforces the following rules:

You must have a PA fishing license to fish in the lake. (we tell you how to do this in our digital guidebook)
All boats including canoes, kayaks, sailboats, wind surfers, rowboats or any other water craft capable of carrying an operator must be registered with Big Bass Lake Association prior to use, guests can not bring their own boats and must use the kayaks we provide.

The house is located outside of the gated part of the community right next to one of the lake beaches and the main Big Bass Lake Association check-in gate. You must go to the main gate before going to the property to get your check in pass from security.
We may request guest verification after your reservation is booked. This would include you to provide personal contact information and a photo of your ID and a selfie photo with your ID.
The Poconos is very prone to wintery weather and snow storms in the winter months. Please consider this when booking your trip during those months. We suggest you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking to protect your trip. We do not give refunds or change dates due to weather or medical related issues. We do not shovel the deck and fire pit area in the winter months but provide a shovel if you’d like to use those amenities.

I loved this place. There was tons of games and my family and I played an intense game of uno. Kayaking was so fun and letting my dog run freely was awesome. To our surprise she left stuff to make smores which was so sweet and thoughtful. My family and I really enjoyed this place and I would love to come back again.
Cathleen was an absolutely wonderful host! The place was spotlessly clean and we had an amazing time kayaking — kids' life jackets were provided, which made it so easy and fun for the whole family. What really stood out was how responsive Cathleen was. Hands down the fastest response I've ever gotten from any Airbnb host. And when we realized we had left something behind, she retrieved it and got it back to us the very next day. That kind of care and attentiveness is truly rare. Highly recommend — we'd love to come back!
The house was very clean and had a beautiful view of the lake. The lake beach was about a 2 minute walk from the house and the dock/kayaks at the house were easy to access.
